PPL(H) Training

We offer training for the JAR (European) Private Pilots Licence Helicopters - PPL(H) in our two seat Schweizer 269 CB and five seat Bell 206 Jetranger Helicopters.

We offer complete courses, and pay as you go packages to suit your needs.

At the time of writing (August 2005) the requirements for the issue of a JAR PPL(H) are as follows

• 45 Hours of flying training.
• At least 10 hours of solo flying under the supervision of an instructor.
• 5 Hours of solo navigation (included in the 10 hours above).
• Hold a Class 2 Medical certificate, issued by a CAA approved doctor.
• Pass 7 multi choice exams on related subjects.
• Pass a flight test with a CAA appointed examiner.
